Your Décor Journey. Our Simple Process.

Below we've outlined what you can expect from the Interior Décor Journey. 

Our process remains the same for most of our projects, but each client and home is unique and we'll discuss any variances with you once you commence your journey with us.

1.

Get in touch with us

We know getting started can be daunting, so to help you navigate the various service options and answer your questions about working with Boshoff & Owl we offer a FREE introductory call with us, send us an email and you can also read through our FAQs

2.

Book your In-Home Consultation 

Once we've established what the best way forward would be from our initial call, you can go ahead and book your first consultation. Please note that there is a R500 consultation fee payable at the time of booking your appointment.

3.

Proposal Outline and Cost Estimate

Within the next few days, we will present you with an outline of our ideas and vision along with a cost estimate to complete your project. Please note that the estimate is not a final quotation as this can only be provided once you have made your final selections in the next step.

Note: this is not a design presentation and does not include any designs/sketches/fabric or furniture suggestions. This is an outline of what we think would suit your needs and vision, what the cost range is of one or more options is that will fit within a range of your investment budget discussed with you in your consultation.

4.

Service Journey Selection and Final Quotation

Once you approve the cost estimate to fit within your investment budget and are confident in the décor vision we will have a follow-up with any next steps. This is where your décor journey becomes exciting! We deep dive into the collaborative part of décor. Together we fine tune your choices and make selections of other décor elements depending on the needs of your project. 

 

5.

Custom Production

Once we have your approval along with your deposit, we order all the parts that make up your project and have them delivered to our workshops and craftsmen/women where the custom production happens. We visit our workshops and craftsmen weekly to check on the quality and progress. Whilst production is in progress, we're getting ready for the installation. We coordinate all the relevant hands that will be on deck, order any hardware to ensure a smooth installation and plan the final steps.  We strive to keep you in the loop with all the progress we make and you will receive regular updates on your project. 

 

6.

Installation Day

We will schedule a day for installation. In the past we have had installations that have extended over a few days. This will be communicated with you prior to installation.On this day we ensure that all the pieces come together beautifully and that the quality is as we promised.

7.

Final Walkthrough

After installation we will have a final walk through to make sure you are happy with your end result and that your dream is finally a reality.
